PYP Cassia at Pathways School Noida came alive with energy, colour, and creativity as we proudly hosted the 7th season of Unboxed, our annual interschool celebration titled Abhivyakti – Let it Flow. Recognised as a leading PYP Interschool Event in NCR, this year’s edition once again brought together young learners from across the region for a vibrant showcase of talent, collaboration, and artistic confidence.

As a much-anticipated Performing Arts Competition, the event welcomed nearly 150 visitors, including students and teachers from nine schools across NCR. From the moment participants stepped onto campus, the atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm. Teams rehearsed diligently, supported one another backstage, and prepared to present performances that reflected both technical skill and heartfelt expression. The excitement in the air was unmistakable, reaffirming why Unboxed continues to grow as a significant PYP Interschool Event NCR each year.

The theme Abhivyakti – Let it Flow encouraged learners to embrace creativity without hesitation. As a thoughtfully curated Primary Years Programme Celebration, the event aligned with the philosophy of student voice, choice, and ownership. Participants explored a range of performing arts categories, including monologues, scene work, Western dance, and classical dance. Each performance demonstrated careful preparation and teamwork, while also highlighting the individuality of every young performer.

What distinguished this Performing Arts Competition was the diversity of expression on display. The monologues were powerful and introspective, drawing audiences into compelling narratives. Scene work showcased collaboration and timing, with students demonstrating impressive stage presence and confidence. Western dance performances brought rhythm and high energy to the stage, while classical dance presentations reflected grace, discipline, and cultural richness. Together, these elements made the event a well-rounded Primary Years Programme Celebration of talent and creativity.

Beyond the stage, the event fostered meaningful connections between schools. As a flagship PYP Interschool Event NCR, Unboxed provided a platform for students to interact with peers from different educational communities, exchange ideas, and appreciate diverse interpretations of performance art. Teachers played a guiding role, mentoring their teams while allowing student agency to shine — a hallmark of a true Primary Years Programme Celebration.

Throughout the day, the campus resonated with applause, encouragement, and mutual respect. Participants supported one another wholeheartedly, demonstrating that a Performing Arts Competition is not only about winning but also about learning, sharing, and growing together. The spirit of collaboration and sportsmanship was evident in every performance and every interaction.

After a day filled with inspiring showcases, Delhi Public School Gurgaon International (DPSGI) emerged as the proud winners of Unboxed Season 7. Their presentation stood out for its originality, cohesion, and impactful storytelling. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to their team for their well-deserved recognition in this year’s Performing Arts Competition.

As the curtains closed on this memorable edition, it was clear that Unboxed continues to strengthen its identity as a leading PYP Interschool Event NCR.
