To be recognized as an IB World School, an institution must meet the rigorous standards set by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization, Geneva. The school must be officially authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB) to offer one or more of its programmes and must have a qualified team of IB-trained educators with a robust budget allocated for continuous professional development.
The IB offers four programs - PYP, MYP, DP & CP.
Pathways School Noida, as an IB Continuum School, offers all programs of IB.
Pathways School Noida (PSN) offers a continuum of high-quality, internationally-minded programmes for students. IB provides a framework for schools to build their own curriculum through an inquiry-based, concept-driven approach, instead of a fixed syllabus. Schools have the flexibility to implement it based on their own culture and values.
Pathways has a legacy of creating impact on student lives which has a testimony of accreditations from CIS (Council of International Schools) and NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges).
Many of our educators are IBEN members, Microsoft Innovative Educator Certified Experts, and NEASC and CIS auditors, who travel globally to assess schools and share best practices.
CIS and NEASC are the most prestigious and globally recognized accreditations in education. Earning these distinctions is incredibly rigorous, requiring schools to meet exceptional standards in learning, leadership, student well-being, and global citizenship. Only a select number of schools worldwide successfully achieve this, making it a true mark of excellence.
So, what does this mean for us? It means Pathways meets the highest international benchmarks, continuously improving to provide students with a world-class education. More than just academics, a CIS and NEASC accredited school nurtures critical thinking, innovation, and global awareness, ensuring students are prepared to succeed anywhere in the world.
The academic session commences in mid-July each year, following the international academic calendar and ends in June.
We follow a rolling admissions model and seats are available, subject to availability. Our flexible admissions process allows students to join at a time that best supports their learning journey, without having to wait for a fixed admission cycle. Orientation and induction programmes are organised to help students and parents settle smoothly into the new school community.
The admissions process is the same for all applicants both Indian and international. If you're applying from abroad, virtual tours, online assessments, and flexible timelines ensure a smooth experience from wherever you are.
We understand that moving to a new country can be a big transition — for both children and their families. Our orientation programme, buddy system, and close teacher-student relationships help new students settle in quickly. Whether it's understanding classroom routines or making friends, we ensure every child feels supported, seen, and included from day one.
Each of the four IB programs are designed in a way that students from different streams could adapt to the program requirements. Students find application-based curriculum and project work quite encouraging and interesting. Each year many students from different education boards joined IB schools and have performed well consistently.
To facilitate a smooth transition, we offer a pre-term program designed to introduce students to the IB curriculum. This program aims to help them acclimate, enabling them to recognize the positive aspects and promising potential of the curriculum.
Yes, PSN has a dedicated College Placement Cell which starts engagement with students and parents from grade 8 onwards. University Fairs are organized on school wherein colleges/universities overseas and India present information sessions for students and parents. To learn more kindly visit our Career Guidance page.
The IB Diploma Program is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, equating it to the Senior Secondary School's 10+2 level for undergraduate admissions in India. IB and PSN work closely with Indian Universities to acquaint them with the rigour and strength of the IB program and the richness IB students add in the overall student body of a college.
IB students have successfully pursued their undergrad programs in top Indian colleges across such as:
Delhi University: Shri Ram College of Commerce, Lady Shri Ram College, Sri Venkateswara College, Jesus and Mary College, Kamla Nehru College, Indraprastha College for Women
Others: St. Xavier's, Mumbai, D.Y Patil University, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, NIFT, NID, Manipal University, Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai
