How many programs does IB offer?
The IB offers four programs - Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP), Diploma Program (DP) & Career-related Program (CP).
- IB Primary Years Program (PYP) – a program for age group 3-12 (grades Nursery–5)
- IB Middle Years Program (MYP) – a program for age group 11-16 (grades 6–10)
- IB Diploma Program (DP) – a two-year rigorous pre-university course for age group 16-19 (grades 11–12) that prepares students to enter top Universities in the world including India. IB offers a formal external examination at the completion of the DP program.
- IB Career-related Program (CP) - a two-year program for age group 16-19 (grades 11–12) specifically developed for students who want to engage in career-related learning while gaining transferable skills in applied knowledge, critical thinking, communication and cross-cultural engagement.
Do students encounter difficulties transitioning from a different educational board to the International Baccalaureate (IB)?
Each of the four IB programs are designed in a way that students from different streams could adapt to the program requirements. Students find application-based curriculum and project work quite encouraging and interesting. Each year many students from different education boards joined IB schools and have performed well consistently.
To facilitate a smooth transition, we offer a pre-term program designed to introduce students to the IB curriculum. This program aims to help them acclimate, enabling them to recognize the positive aspects and promising potential of the curriculum.

When does the admissions process begin at Pathways School Noida?
Admissions at Pathways School Noida are open throughout the year, subject to seat availability. Our flexible admissions process allows students to join at a time that best supports their learning journey, without having to wait for a fixed admission cycle. Orientation and induction programmes are organised to help students and parents settle smoothly into the new school community.
When does the academic session begin at PSN?
The academic session commences in mid-July each year, following the international academic calendar and ends in June.
What kind of food is provided on campus? Will my child have options they're comfortable with?
Our school kitchen prepares nutritious, vegetarian meals in-house, offering breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day. The menu features a wide range of international cuisines, complemented by familiar Indian favorites and child-friendly options to suit varied tastes. Special attention is given to providing age-appropriate menus. We have a separate menu for our Early Years students, ensuring balanced nutrition and suitable portion sizes. Our culinary team also accommodates students with specific dietary requirements or sensitivities.
Do IB and PSN help the students to get admissions in Universities especially in Indian universities?
- PSN has a dedicated College Placement Cell which starts engagement with students and parents from grade 9 onwards.
- PSN organizes many University Fairs in the school wherein colleges/universities from India and overseas present an information session for students and parents.
- IB and PSN work closely with Indian Universities in order to acquaint them with the rigour and strength of the IB program and the richness IB students add in the overall student body of a college.
- PSN provides students with a letter from the school explaining the timing of the IB results, predicted grade accuracy, etc., which could help in seeking Indian university admission.
- PSN provides the students with copies of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) recognition letter to help with admissions.
- PSN provides percentage equivalence of the IB grades within two weeks after the result declared.
