Our PYP learners joyfully celebrated International Day, an event brought to life through strong and meaningful parent community engagement. Organized by our dedicated parent community, the celebration reflected the same spirit of unity and collaboration seen during International Parents Day, where families play an essential role in shaping enriching school experiences.

The school came alive with vibrant cultural displays, engaging activities, delicious global cuisine, and beautifully designed kiosks representing countries from all over the world. Learners carried their own passports, collecting stamps and stickers as they explored each nation’s unique identity and discovered the deeper cultural meaning behind traditions, languages, and symbols.

As students visited the various stalls, they gained valuable insights into the diversity of global cultures. The event not only strengthened their international-mindedness but also highlighted how parent community engagement enhances real-world learning. Each kiosk showcased global connections and helped children understand the cultural meaning embedded in everyday customs and celebrations across different nations.

The celebration of International Day also echoed the values promoted during International Parents Day—honouring the partnership between school and families. This collaboration created a rich, immersive experience where students could appreciate global diversity and develop a deeper respect for cultural perspectives.

Through this memorable event, our school community demonstrated how powerful parent community engagement can be in promoting global awareness, nurturing young learners, and building an inclusive understanding of cultural meaning in today’s interconnected world.
