The much-awaited Math fair was organized by Grade 5 students. The corridors overflowed with exciting energy, reflecting a love for numbers, and mathematical thinking! Students worked to create fun games, puzzles, and activities for the fair throughout the week. They eagerly worked towards the fair to build confidence in applying mathematical skills and sharing their learning with their peers. They collaborated  in groups to set up their stations for the fair. The students explored, presented, and conducted interesting games. It was amazing to see the learners showcase their creativity and ability to imbibe concepts into games and their skill to collaborate thoughts, coordinate with team members, and communicate rules to those who came to their stalls. This allowed them to explore their thinking as problem solvers. At their friends' stations, the learners enjoyed playing mathematical games. The Math Fair was an opportunity to bring out the best in every learner. The objective of the fair was successfully achieved as it added a fun element to the learning process and created a non-competitive zone for learning. Many learners became risk-takers by thinking out of the box and choosing to conduct challenging activities. We hope to see our young thinkers continue to associate mathematical learning with real-life situations as a result of this event.
