Even though the Sports Day is past us now, the buzz and chatter still hasn’t left the corridors! This year’s Annual Athletic meet was held on 23rd February 2018.

Prior to this day, for the first time ever we held a skill events competition in sports like Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Cricket, Golf & Dart for Secondary students. This shows a versatile variety of talents in secondary school. As a school we believe in valuing not only track and field but other games as well. Each participant was allowed to participate in one sport. Increase in participation was there but to see the students excel in their field was over-whelming. The house spirit was at its peak.

The next day was the big event the 7th Annual Athletic Meet. Our chief guest for the event was Mr. Zafar Iqbal who has made invaluable contribution to the Indian Hockey Team since he first donned the national colors against Holland in 1977, which the team went on to win. He played at the Asian Games, Bangkok in 1978 and was the Captain of the team at New Delhi in 1982, winning the silver medal in both. The crowning glory of his illustrious career in hockey came to him in 1980 when he represented India at the Moscow Olympics and brought home the Gold Medal after a long hiatus.

The enthusiasm and energy brought the whole school together. What was really pleasing to the eye was that even when our runners were seen losing they didn't give up. Overall championship was taken over by Fire House both in Cross Country & Annual Athletics Meet 2017-18. The below are the Individual champions of their Group in Annual Athletics Meet 2017-18.
