• Tree plantation, initiative by Dia, Secretary of Environment, Primary School Pathways School Noida

Dia Bhatia grade 5-B, the Secretary of Environment, Primary School, PSN, had expressed her wish to plant trees in the School Campus. She put this proposal to the EC members in a meeting and Pathways Aravali Executive Director, Dr. Sarvesh Naidu, not only whole heartedly supported her but also volunteered to send 150 saplings to her in school to support this noble act. With the support of our General Manager, Mr. Henderson, a plan was created to plant the saplings, specifically where the sun was ideal for the trees.

On a lovely sunny morning, the 11th of February, the Student Council, and the entire student Parliament from Upper Primary, took great pride in planting their saplings. The Primary School Principal, Ms. Meenakshi Singhal and Deputy Principal, Ms. Aruna Jha also graced the occasion.

Trees planted on school grounds provided opportunities for environmental education, besides getting our young children thinking about Environmental Conservation early. This was Dia's powerful message to her peers about the need for Conversation on a large scale, where we all need to pitch in and do our bit. She was passionate about her drive and also talked about it in her brief to the students and the management.
