• DP students attend Young Molecular Biologist Program Pathways School Noida

Pathways School Noida's DP students had an incredible learning experience at the Shiv Nadar University- Young Molecular Biologist Program on October 28th and 29th. This two-day, one-night program allowed 16 students to immerse themselves in the world of molecular biology. They not only gained valuable hands-on experience in techniques such as investigating DNA from crime scenes, gel electrophoresis, and PCR but also had the unique opportunity to explore 3-D structures of Proteome and DNA using virtual reality.

The program enriched their understanding for creating impactful Internal Assessments and Extended Essays but also opened doors to potential career paths. Dr. Anil Kumar Challa, a Senior Scientist from the Department of Life Sciences, led the practical sessions. The evenings were filled with recreational sports in SNU's sports complex, and students even got to capture DNA images using X-ray filming. The closing ceremony was a special moment as each student received a well-deserved participatory certificate for their dedication and enthusiasm. This experience was truly unforgettable, aligning these young minds with exciting prospects in the world of molecular biology.
