To deepen their understanding on the unit on Systems, Grade-1 students undertook an educational excursion to Modern Bazar. The primary objective of this field trip was to observe the systematic organization of products within a supermarket environment.
During their visit, the students were captivated by the meticulous organization of items based on attributes such as color, type, and intended use. They also took note of the hanging labels from the ceiling, which demarcated various sections, including groceries, fruits, bakery, personal care, and confectionery, among others. The inquisitive young learners seized the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions with the store's staff, particularly at the billing counter. This ongoing journey helped the students learn how to take care of themselves and keep things organized, which would make them better at learning on their own.
